"PATHWAY OF CHAMPIONS"

We have exciting news to share with you that will benefit everyone playing at Mericourt.  The success over the past two seasons are a direct reflection of the wonderful parent volunteers we have at Mericourt.  This 2008 season, we have teamed up with the city and local business owners to update the park's lower fields.  The 9/10 and T-Ball fields will be updated to regulation size.  Concessions, bathrooms, walkways, adequate seating, and best of all, it will be handicapped accessible.  We have created a unique practice/playing schedule to compensate for not having the minor field this season.  The 2008 season will go on as if nothing is different.  We may have a few inconveniences, but it will be well worth it when our fields are completed this fall.  Our hard work really paid off last summer when we were given the privilege of hosting 3 tournaments. 

 With the updated fields, we will be hosting many more district, state, and possibly regional tournaments!!

If you are interested in a way to permanently recognize those who support the preservation and advancement of the Little League Program and the great tradition that it represents for young boys and girls throughout the Region and throughout the World, a brick on the "Pathway of Champions" is a great idea!!
